About Virginia’s Weblog

Virginia Fortner answers to Grandma Ginny (Wichita, KS and Mare Island, CA), Ginia (Mom’s in Fredonia, KS), and Laoshi (“teacher” in China). When she’s home, you can visit her in the Clark Fork Valley, halfway between Paradise and Plains, Montana. This blog will update you on life wherever she’s calling home.

Categories will let you read about four years’ teaching in China, recent teaching in Saudi Arabia and a trip to Dubai, life in Montana, and other side trips like Japan, California or Kansas City. Come gadabout with me!

  1. Dear Virginia, Is it alright if I add your blog site to my next letter out to our classmates? I am sure some of them will be glad to have it to read. You are a brave woman, you know. Love, Carol

Congratulations, Virginia, on the new blog. I look forward to your new essays.
Lunch was really a treat and the apricots were wonderful. The potholder is too pretty to use. I have it propped (sp?) in my kitchen window.
    Good luck!!

  3. I refuse to say goodby and the 19th is a looong way away :) , still, your blog is great and up-to-date, which is more than can be said for mine!! We must do something special before you are gone.

  4. Hi my name is Martha, I came across a picture that belongs to you, and was wondering if I could copy it to my website as part of my main page. Awaiting your reply.

    Regards Martha
